IT LOOKS as if Finland won't be getting a mountain for its 100th birthday after all (TD 29 Jul), with Norway's Prime Minister ruling a resounding 'nope' over the weekend. "Border adjustments between countries raise challenging legal problems, among them linked to the Norwegian constitution," said Prime Minister Erna Solberg to a mayor in northern Norway who supported the gift. "We will instead consider another suitable gift to Finland on its anniversary," she said.
