AFTA confirms National Travel Industry Awards judges.

Twelve “exceedingly qualified industry men and women” have been appointed to the Judging Panel for the 2015 National Travel Industry Awards, with the group led by former Starwood director of leisure and luxury sales Bob Lunnon as Chief Judge.

Also on the panel are Tourism Ireland Australia/NZ manager Diane Butler, Discover the World country director Jeannie Foster and Julie King, Asia-Pacific director for Dubai Tourism.

Former IATA regional vice president Andrew Drysdale, Broome & The Kimberley Holidays founder Bernard Whewell, meetings industry veteran Elizabeth Rich and John McKernan, previously director of the Tourism Industry Council NSW are all judges, along with Your Workshops md Tim Poulter.

The panel is rounded out by AFTA Education and Training director Rick Myatt,  former helloworld senior executive Mahua Das and industry veteran Col Hughes, formerly md of World Aviation Systems and immediate past chairman of the National Tourism Alliance.

AFTA ceo Jayson Westbury acknowledged the panel’s contribution and thanked them for taking part in the awards.
