TD breaking news – Cover-More to evacuate Nepal passengers

Agents urged to contact Cover-More to arrange repatriation of impacted customers.

Cover-More Travel Insurance has chartered an Airbus A330 to evacuate Australian travellers out of Kathmandu, with the special flight scheduled to depart Nepal tonight at 9pm local time.

Cover-More has opened more than 220 cases for customers impacted by the earthquake, and requests that agents check their records for any customers that are likely to currently be in Nepal.

Cover-More will attempt to contact the travellers today in order to facilitate their evacuation.

The company also has a medical, security and trauma counselling assistance team on the ground, based at Kathmandu airport.

Please send your customer details to nepalearthquake@medicalassistance.com.au.  Alternatively, Cover-More asks that you contact them directly on +61 2 8907 5605 or text to +61 408 971 729.
