THE Tasmanian Government has unveiled a new strategy aimed at attracting more visitors to the island state. Principles outlined in the Tasmanian Visitor Engagement Strategy include greater interaction with locals, helping visitors connect with the state's stories and inspiring travellers to share their itineraries. The document also highlights the need to revamp visitor information centres, upgrade way finding signage and improve gateways and sea ports.
