SIA Group carried 5.8% more passengers in Jan compared to last year, outpacing capacity growth for the period of 4.5%. Singapore Airlines remained relatively steady, improving load factors by one percentage point to 81.2%, while Scoot zoomed ahead, recording a 37.1% carriage increase year-on-year and a 38.5% capacity growth. SilkAir's systemwide passenger carriage grew 23.4% year-on-year, capacity was up 17.5% and loads climbed to 73.2%.
