THE European travel industry is increasingly adopting alternative payment methods, according to new research carried out by Phocuswright which was co-sponsored by eNett International. The study revealed that for larger TMCs, Virtual Account Numbers (VANs) have already overtaken traditional payments. eNett md Anthony Hynes said he was confident that "over the coming years we will see a landscape dominated by innovative payment methods...providing a frictionless experience for agencies and suppliers alike".
