HONOLULU City Council has approved Salem Partners' plan for Mana`olana Place, a US$700 million, 36-storey mixed-use tower, featuring a brand new luxury 125-room hotel. The project is expected to become a Honolulu destination in its own right, with a restaurant and bar 100 metres above street level, inviting gardens, shops and dining at street level. Construction is earmarked to commence next year, with a completion date in 2020.
