KOREAN Air has confirmed the
withdrawal of its direct flights
between Seoul Incheon and
Melbourne, with the thrice
weekly service to cease operation
effective 03 Mar 2013.
The non-stop flight has been in
operation for five years, with the
carrier citing “the pressure of
high fuel prices, coupled with a
sluggish inbound sector”.
KE said outbound demand
remained healthy, and thanked
the Vic community and travel
industry for its “ongoing support
of this scheduled service from the
very beginning”.
