TOURIST arrivals in Indonesia spiked a healthy 13% in Aug when compared with Aug 2015, cracking one million visitors for the month, govt stats reveal. For the calendar year so far, a total of 7.36 million tourists have crossed the border, up 8% on the year prior. Room occupancy for Aug reached an average of 55.21%, down 0.40 points on Aug 2015 while the average length of stay of foreigners at star-rated hotels during the month dropped 0.13 points to 1.8 days.
