Hong Kong surpasses China growth

SHORT-TERM visitor arrivals figures released today by the ABS saw Hong Kong wrest away the mantle from China as Australia’s fastest growing inbound source market, posting a 14.8% jump in arrivals, compared to its mainland neighbour at 12.7%. Australia welcomed 194,000 Hong Kong residents over the month, while 830,000 Chinese took their holidays down under.
