Partnerships & Promotions Manager AU/NZ

DESCRIPTION

Reporting to the Regional Director, Australia & New Zealand, responsible for the development, planning and implementation of the sales promotions strategy in Australia & New Zealand to drive awareness, support maximum revenue growth and increased market share.

Plan and prepare promotional materials in collaboration with the Marketing team consistent with the brand guidelines.

Provide presentation and product collateral during the introduction of new products and services as required.

Identify and develop contacts for promotional campaigns and industry programs that meet identified buyer targets such as trade distributors and consumers.

Create sales promotion campaigns with key agency partners consistent with both contractual obligations and adhoc opportunities.

Provide adequate and timely feedback on market trends and challenges together with recommendations and insights on issues in order to support the decision making process for specific sales promotion initiatives and strategies.

Monitor and analyse sales promotion results to determine cost effectiveness and ROI.

Track program budgets & expenses and campaign response rates to evaluate each campaign based on program objectives and industry norms/trends.

Organize and support Hawaiian’s effective participation in airline specific events, seminars, roadshows and functions demonstrating a commitment to the market and maximum awareness strategy of the product and fare offerings. 

Manage HA local social media presence & strategy in conjunction with HDQ Marketing

Create and manage the promotional budgets that allow the company to maximise market awareness of its offerings whilst concurrently achieving a strong ROI.

Collaborate with key departmental stakeholders namely HDQ Marketing and support their business objectives that form the broader commercial strategy for Australia/New Zealand.

Ensure the strategic collaboration is complimentary and seamless through the elimination of departmental silos. 

Produce & manage collateral, trade flyers, merchandising and marketing material in line with HA Marketing brand guidelines.

Consultation and engagement with relevant customers marketing area to ensure maximum exposure and ROI for HA.

Assist with presentations adhering to HA marketing guidelines.

Maintain & monitor HA design requirements with Co-operative advertising.

Develop or maintain existing relationships with travel media, press and relevant travel publication to enhance HA presence in market.

REQUIREMENTS

Key Requirements

Extensive sales promotions experience within an airline or travel related company with at least 5 years’ experience.

Proven success with the implementation of robust and creative sales promotions.

Demonstrated experience in the creation, development and execution of both indirect and direct sales promotion initiatives supported by associated business strategies.

Extensive network across key business constituencies especially within the travel trade sector ensuring Hawaiian Airlines is represented effectively and achieves the right level of awareness.

Demonstrated experience and knowledge of Australia and New Zealand travel industry

Experience with Social media, blog/Facebook/Twitter

Ability to analyse data and create reporting on marketing effectiveness and ROI
