National Sales Manager


Show Group Enterprises is a leading Travel Management and Logistics company who have been servicing entertainment, film, theatre, sport, TV and corporate clients for over 30 years with multiple locations across Australia.

A rare position has become available within our Sales Team for a National Sales Manager, located in our Botany Head Office.


The primary objective of this role is to manage, develop and motivate the Show Group Enterprises Sales and Account Management team across Australia and New Zealand in order to exceed company revenue and profit targets.  This role is responsible for the acquisition and retention of Show Group’s clients.


  • Lead, motivate, develop and train the national sales and account management team

  • Achieve new business targets

  • Manage the implementation of new clients

  • Manage the structured account management process

  • Achieve client retention targets

  • Regular monitoring of team activity resulting in maximum productivity

  • Setting KPI and targets for team

  • Develop key supplier relationships

  • Oversee forecasting and management of sales budgets

  • Complete monthly activity reports, WIP and all new business forecast and growth phasing for budget analysis

  • Manage the negotiations of new opportunities with organisations in all locations for travel and freight services.

  • Maximise the revenue opportunities in the existing client base.

  • Manage website content, client communication and client functions

  • Assist Finance department and the Branch Managers in collection of outstanding funds.

  • Work with Finance Manager to develop new pricing models

  • Attend and represent Show Group at relevant functions and conventions related to the industry.

  • Flexibility in working hours, after hours or weekend work is possible.

  • Must be willing to travel.

  • Keep abreast of new technology within the market place


  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a sales and account management environment.

  • Proven track record in sales techniques for gaining new business

  • Demonstrated sales and people management leadership skills, preferably from within a service industry background.

  • Strong analytical skills- ability to interpret complex data

  • Excellent senior level communication and presentation skills

  • Ability to prepare and present tender documents

  • Strong attention to detail

  • Premium customer service skills

  • Strong computer skills within a Windows environment particularly in excel

  • Good written and oral communication skills

  • Tertiary qualifications will be highly regarded
