Learning & Development Manager


The Learning & Development Manager will assume responsibility for a team who will deliver end-to-end training and coaching for the core employees up to management level. The aspect of training will cover inductions, commercial training, soft skills, management development and technical skills. The aspects of coaching will cover quality audit checks on all work streams, error identification, feedback and coaching workshops with smaller groups. 



Working with business leaders and managers to identify training needs and trends within the business;

Designing, both in-house and with expert third parties, a solution which includes a blended approach to learning such as coaching, classroom training, 1-2-1 sessions, action learning and e-learning;

Delivering these blended solutions and training sessions to delegates by utilising the training team or the coaching team;

Provide regular feedback to all stakeholders as required;

Compile reports for management and operational needs;

Participate and contribute to the creation of statistics and analysis of data;

Drive changes to coaching and training requirements from data sets;

Manage and oversee the coaching and training teams;

Management of the training budget;

Evaluate the performance of the training team against best practices;

Evaluate the effectiveness of the QA monitoring tools and the coaches marking and feeding back;

Lead by example;

Design an effective training evaluation programme;

Develop and organise training manuals, and other education materials;

Plan, develop and provide training and staff development programmes;

Coordinate with resourcing team to ensure induction training is timely;

Coordinating with the scheduling team to ensure coaching workshops are delivered timely;

Perform any other task as assigned by Management.

Skills and Experience

Have experience of management development and soft skills training

Have xperience of designing and delivering a variety of training solutions

Possess budget management experience

Possess a training or a coaching background

Be a strong communicator, both in writing and spoken communications

Be articulate and confident standing up and delivering to large audiences

Be organised, a self-starter and an inspirational leader of your team

Have good planning and organisation skills

Have excellent leadership skills
