Key Account Manager, Sydney based

The Key Account Manager’s role includes but is not limited to:

  • Managing an existing portfolio of ATPI Voyager accounts (portfolio size will be determined based on account size) with a strong focus on account retention
  • Formulation and implementation of strategies to protect current business streams
  • Development and implementation of Business Plans for key clients
  • Managing and identify client reporting requirements including quarterly reviews, weekly or monthly reporting and ad-hoc reporting
  • Developing strong relationships with suppliers to manage negotiations for air, hotel and car rental contracts to delivering savings to ATPI Voyager customers
  • Add strategic value to ATPI Voyager clients based on analysis of travel spend, supplier contracts, lost savings and savings potential, with recommendations throughout the relationship to continue to improve policy compliance
  • Working with all areas of the ATPI Voyager business to provide customers with a total solution for Corporate Travel including the online booking tool, Group Travel, conferencing and events
  • Identifying opportunities for business growth within existing portfolios


To be successful in this role you will need to have:

  • A minimum of 3 years in Key Account Management in the travel industry
  • A proven high skill level in the delivery of strategic customer analysis
  • A high level of expertise in Microsoft Excel necessary for data analysis
  • Expertise in other Microsoft applications
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • A strong team player
  • Professional work ethic
