European Hotel Contracts Manager – beach hotels/resorts
London
To £45k plus bonus

A Contracts Manager is required to negotiate with beach properties/resorts in Europe.

Key duties:

*Deliver acquisition plans through new hotel contracting, management of inventory, rates and
supplier relations
*Use tools to analyse hotel/destination performance and to prioritise actions
*Evaluate market trends and competitor activity and provide analysis and recommendations
*Secure best inventory and most strategically competitive rates through on-going account
management during purchasing and trading periods
*Accountability for growth and development of assigned geographical areas
*Ensure quality across product portfolio
*Conducting product training/briefing for sales staff

Requirements:

*Previous experience of contracting for the package holiday market
*Excellent negotiation skills
*On and off-line experience in travel
*Strong commercial drive to succeed through the best product and service offering
*Excellent communication skills, able to influence and develop strong relationships with a wide range
of audiences
*Experience working with senior levels, is self-confident and capable in building proactive and
meaningful relationships
*Ability to work and thrive in a multi-tasked, fast paced environment
*Ability to influence internal and external decision makers
*Knowledge of another European language would be desirable but not essential
