New Brochure Highlights 101 Things to Do in Macarthur
Aerobatic flights, hot air balloon trips, ghost tours, harness racing, historic inns and mansions, mountain biking and the biggest botanic garden in Australia feature in a new brochure just released called ‘101 Things to Do in Macarthur’.
Launched by Visit Macarthur and supported by Camden and Campbelltown councils, the free booklet showcases the many and varied activities and attractions in the historic Macarthur region 45 minutes south-west of Sydney.
Aimed at visitors to the region and locals, the colour, 12-page guide lists 101 things to see and do across the region, with quaint country inns, B&Bs and deluxe 4½-star hotels also listed as places to stay so visitors can get through the list of 101 activities which includes:
*Horseriding at Sugarloaf Farm
*Australia’s oldest farm – Belgenny Farm
*Harness racing at the new-look Tabcorp Park in Menangle
*Ghost tours at historic Gledswood Homestead
*Mountain biking and walking in one of Australia’s biggest gardens – Australian Botanic Garden Mount Annan
*Farm tours to visit local wineries, orchards and fresh food producers
*Historic houses like Wivenhoe and Glenalvon
*Vintage tiger moth flights and aerobatic flights from Camden Airport
*Hot air ballooning over Macarthur’s hills and dales
