Cox & Kings has significantly boosted its Small Group & Private Journeys 2013 brochure with affordable new itineraries in response to growing demand for small group travel.
The 100-page brochure has increased by 24 pages from 2012 and features new destinations including Crete, Ecuador, Andalucia and the Turkish Black Sea as well as extra departures for many Small Group Journeys.
“There has been a huge increase in the number of affordable tours and departures reflecting the popularity of Cox & Kings Small Group Journeys,” Cox & Kings Australia Product Manager Antony Giblin said.
“Consumers are increasingly recognising the benefits of a more personal style of travel including the fact that Cox & Kings group sizes are limited to 25. Travellers are also able to stop for impromptu photos, explore local eating options and gain a detailed understanding of local cultures.”
Cox & Kings Small Group Journeys program have been priced to be especially affordable and again, for 2013, most can be undertaken on a private basis which means travellers can depart any day of the year with people they know.
New Small Group Journeys include the 8-day Highlights of Crete which explores the island’s scenic and cultural highlights including the Palace of Knossos – the monument of the ancient Minoan society, from $2112* per person twin share; the 10-day Ecuador & Galapagos Experience which includes Quito, Cotopaxi volcano and five nights cruising the wildlife-rich Galapagos from $5181* per person twin share; and the 8-day Splendours of Andalucia through Seville, Cordoba and Granada from $2559* per person twin share.
Also new for 2013 is the 12-day Japan Explorer which includes traditional highlight cities as well as Takayama and Kanazawa from $7012* per person twin share; and the 12-day Splendours of Southeast Asia encompassing Luang Prabang in Laos, majestic Angkor Wat in Cambodia and the temples of Bagan and colonial Rangoon in Burma from $4659* per person twin share.
Extra departures have been added for many Small Group Journeys including the 11-day Golden Land of Burma which operates between January 2013 and March 2014.
Several tours are also available as Small Group, Private Journeys and Luxury Departures (which offer 5-star accommodation) including the popular 15-day The Grand Tour of China and the 13-day Spirit of Vietnam.
To celebrate the launch of its 2013 program, Cox & Kings is offering a 5%* discount for repeat travellers and those who combine two or more Small Group Journeys on the one holiday.
Those who travel with friends or family will also save, with groups of 4-7 receiving a 5%* discount and groups of 8 or more a 10%* discount each.
