Hurtigruten has launched its 2013 Norway brochure which features the complete product line-up for 2013
and the introduction of a new flexible pricing structure. Published six months earlier than last year, this
brochure replaces the Preview Brochure normally launched at this time of year and which only featured
the four main classic voyages.
The 2013 brochure showcases Norway’s seasonal splendour. As you take a journey through the brochure
you will be transported across a land of contrasts and four distinctive seasons, from the Arctic Awakening
(Spring), Voyages of the Midnight Sun (Summer), vibrant colours of red, yellow and orange (Autumn), and
expeditions in search of the Northern Lights (Winter). Whichever season brings you to Norway, we have
four distinctive voyages with almost year-round daily departures, each one introducing you to 34 ports of
call on the ‘World’s Most Beautiful Voyage’.

The Norway brochure now also includes our unique programs specifically created for our winter voyages
where we go ‘Hunting the Light’, and the upcoming season is predicted to be an optimum time to see the
Aurora Borealis.
A summary of what else is new for 2013:
Flexible pricing – Our new flexible pricing structure means that the earlier you book the lower your voyage
fare will be. Savings of up to 25% off your voyage fare are available when bookings are received no later
than 30 September 2012. Each pricing tier is capacity controlled, so the earlier you book the bigger the
savings!
‘Taste of the Arctic’ – A brand new five-day ‘Taste of the Arctic’ voyage from Bergen to Tromsø and vice-
versa has been introduced on various dates between January and March and October and December
2013. Prices start from £1080pp.
Excursions – Two brand new wildlife excursions have been added.

On-board Concepts – Furthering Hurtigruten’s aim to bring guests closer to the Norwegian culture, new
music and culinary concepts are being introduced on all ships. Local delicacies will feature on the daily
menu affording a real taste of the coast and guests will be able to enjoy Norwegian music played on
board.
