Tempo unveils Italy Central Europe 2013 program
Tempo Holidays has unveiled its 2013 Italy Central Europe brochure featuring earlybird discounts of up to $150 on a range of new Italy tours as well as new adventure and food itineraries.
The 115-page brochure takes in Italy, Austria, Czech Republic, Germany, Hungary, Malta, Netherlands, Poland, Slovenia and Switzerland.
Tempo is taking $150 off several new Italy tours when booked and deposited by 28 February 2013 including the 12-day Essence of Italy. The coach tour explores Rome, Florence and Venice before soaking up the scenery around Lake Como and the stunning coastal towns of the Cinque Terre from $2839* per person twin share.
The discount also applies to the new 15-day Grand Tour of Italy & Sicily, which starts in Rome and includes 4 days in the enchanting southern island from $3066*; and the 11-day Portraits of Italy which covers Italy’s major highlights – Rome, Venice, Florence and the stunning Gulf of Naples from $2185*. All departures are guaranteed and feature English speaking guides.
A $50 earlybird discount applies to the new 7-day Italian Lakes and Cinque Terre Experience which travels by coach through Lake Como and the Cinque Terre and includes wine tasting in Chianti from $1255*.
Tempo has also introduced adventure walking tours of Italy including the 8-night Hiking in the Dolomites where clients will climb panoramic peaks, swim in emerald lakes and marvel at the incredible rock pillars of the Tre Cime from $1433*.
Cycling adventure tours have also been introduced in Austria – the 10-day Along the Blue Danube Cycle from $1465* and 8-day Vineyards and Steppes Cycle from $1302*.
Other new packages include the 8-day Gastronomic Sicily taking in Palermo, Agrigento, Syracuse, Taormina and Monreale with guided food and wine tastings; the 12-day Best of Sicily and Malta – which offers a unique blend of escorted and independent touring; and the 4-day independent Discover Puglia, a sun-drenched coastal region of southern Italy.
“People have done the bread and butter parts of Italy like Rome, Florence and Venice and with so much coverage of regional Italy from shows like MasterChef and the new Kath & Kim movie, they want to do more,” Tempo Holidays product manager Antony Frino said.
“We have responded by adding packages to areas like the Lakes District, Cinque Terre, Amalfi Coast and Tuscany and have expert guided tours, independent private packages as well as self-drive packages to accommodate all types of travellers.
“Sicily is a lesser explored part of Italy that is well deserving of travellers’ attention, and we also offer some great products to the stunning island in 2013.”
Popular tours returning next year include the 5-day Emerald Tour based in Sorrento and Amalfi; the 8-day Rome to Milan rail tour; and the 4-day Highlights of Chianti which combines unforgettable gourmet experiences with visits to some of Tuscany’s most beautiful towns.
