CHINA specialists Wendy Wu Tours have just released a new China winter specials brochure with savings on selected group tour departures for visitors during the cooler, quieter tourist season.
Wendy Wu’s product manager Renee Thompson said that the brochure had been developed to give visitors the chance to experience China when tourist numbers were fewer and they can benefit from seasonally lower costs.
She added, “During the northern winter months, visitors have a much better opportunity to make leisurely visits to places like the Forbidden City, Tiananmen Square, Xian’s Terracotta Warriors and Shanghai’s shopping paradise.
Further, the Chinese winter sees a much lower level of haziness in major cities offering better viewing of the country’s breathtaking scenery”.
There are four tours available including the eight-day fully inclusive “China Impressions” designed especially for first-time visitors as it covers three of China’s key attractions – the ancient city of Beijing featuring the Great Wall, historical Xian with its Warriors and the modern and cosmopolitan city of Shanghai.
Priced from $2,020 per person twin share, it includes return economy airfares flying with China Southern Airlines including taxes from selected capital cities, six nights’ accommodation, all meals, comprehensive sightseeing with a National Escort and/or English-speaking guides, all transportation within China and visas for Australian passport holders. Fuel levy and tipping are included but are subject to change.
Another tour option during the cooler months in China is the 28-day China Highlights tour which costs from $3,826 per person twin share and includes return economy airfares from Australia flying Singapore Airlines including taxes from Australian selected capital cities, all air and road transport in China, accommodation and all meals, daily sightseeing activities, an English speaking national escort and/or English-speaking local guides as well as visas for Australian
