New Horizons Holidays Bali program out now
Featuring the Gili Islands for the first time
New Horizons Holidays is beginning 2012 with the roll-out of its new-look brochures for its top five destinations, starting with an expanded and diversified, new look Bali program to reflect the ever-changing demands and travel desires of West Australians visiting the ‘Island of the gods’.
Chris Evans, managing director, New Horizons Holidays said, “With a fresh new look for the new year, our 2012 Bali program offers more variety than ever before. We’ve introduced product on the untouched Gili Islands as well as new hotels, villa accommodation and more sightseeing and touring options.
“The Gili Islands, off Lombok, once firmly on the backpacker trail, have been growing in popularity in recent years with a more diverse range of travellers looking to enjoy the relaxed and laid-back experience for which they’re renowned – and with no cars or bikes on the islands this tranquility has been maintained. We’ve contracted a new hotel on Gili Islands in 2012, Hotel Vila Ombak, which we expect will be a popular option for frequent travellers to Bali who may be looking for something new.
“Our villa range has also been expanded, especially in the popular areas of Seminyak and Sanur. Over the last few years the appeal of this style of accommodation has grown with more and more travellers recognising the value, space and added element of luxury that villas stays offer. Some of the new properties on offer include the five-star The Gangsa Villa in Sanur which caters for all travellers whether it’s a couple’s retreat or a family getaway and the modern four-star Bali Island Villas and Spa.
“As we see an increase in experiential travellers, or those who are looking to immerse themselves in the culture and surrounds of a destination, we have showcased a selection of tours which allow travellers the opportunity to experience a different side to Bali, whether its our Ubud cooking school where guests learn the secrets to Balinese cuisine, tours exploring eastern and northern Bali or even our Kintamani Volcano Tour.
“Bali is a perennial favourite, particularly for those from the West, as it is very close – just three hours by air – and entices a myriad of travellers with its value proposition, accommodation choices to suit all tastes and budgets, day spas, shopping, dining, nightlife, surfing, diving, health resorts, adventure options and more.”
