APT has launched its most exciting Canada & Alaska Featuring USA 2014 brochure to date, offering its Australian guests more land and cruise itineraries than ever before.

The 170-page brochure for 2014 carries a total of 34 itineraries, including: 13 Rockies and Alaskan Cruise itineraries, three of which are part of APT’s Platinum Collection holiday portfolio; four Alaskan Journeys; four Eastern Canada Holidays, one of which is Platinum Collection; five USA Discovery itineraries, including new for 2014, boutique Mississippi river cruising and East Coast air cruising (a combination tour featuring West & East US Air cruising); five Best of Canada, Alaska & The USA; two Canada’s Winter Wonderland; and a Botanica itinerary.
Three Wilderness Lodges & Resorts extensions also feature in the brochure.
There are a wide range of deals available for bookings made by 25 October 2013, including free flights to Canada, worth up to $4,820 per couple, and a companion fly free offer, representing a saving of $3,350 per couple.
A range of new enhancements, such as the introduction of two-door coaches in Western Canada, complimentary Wi-Fi on coaches throughout Canada, a new range of ‘Signature Experiences’ and amended Freedom of Choice Sightseeing are available. There is also a long list of guaranteed inclusions, such as all sightseeing, port charges, porterage and tipping, GoldLeaf Service onboard the Rocky Mountaineer train, airport meet and greet service upon arrival and transfers on the first and last day of the trip.
New products for 2014 include:
– Five Star Mississippi river cruising on board the river’s newest and finest luxury small-ship paddlewheeler, the Queen of the Mississippi;
– East Coast US Air Cruising, complementing the West Coast Air Cruising that sold so well in 2013;
– New Eastern Canada & USA with New England itinerary, including three nights in New York city and a cruise from Boston to Quebec city;
– New Eastern Canada Platinum tour and enhancements to West Coast platinum itinerary, such as two nights in Sparkling Hill Resort & Spa and travelling by float plane direct into The Butchart Gardens for lunch; and
– Enhanced Alaska Touring programme with four enhanced itineraries and included or optional Arctic Circle flights on some itineraries.
The most popular tour is the 22 day Rockies Odyssey & Alaska Cruise.
Priced from $11,295, twin share, it includes a two day Rocky Mountaineer rail journey in a GoldLeaf carriage, six nights in the Canadian Rockies, two nights in Whistler and seven nights onboard an Alaskan premium Inside Passage cruise to Glacier Bay. All accommodation, 45 fine meals, Freedom of Choice Dining Inclusions, transfers, port charges, porterage, tipping and Freedom of Choice Sightseeing are included.
