Travel Indochina surging ahead with sales to the Sub Continent
Australia’s Asia travel specialist, Travel Indochina, has released its ‘2013-14 India, Sri Lanka, Bhutan and Maldives’ brochure with a range of new itineraries, amid strong sales results to the sub continent.
According to Travel Indochina’s Managing Director, Paul Hole, sales to India have remained buoyant following solid growth in 2011-12, with a year on year increase of almost 30% on Small Group Journeys and over 40% growth in FIT sales this year.
“We’re very pleased with the sustained growth we’ve seen to India,” said Paul.
“Sri Lanka has also experienced dramatic growth off last year’s base, with a fivefold increase in Small Group Journey sales and a doubling of FIT.
“India and Sri Lanka are capturing travellers’ imaginations. Being such ‘feasts for the senses’, our Small Group Journeys and expert assistance in designing tailored itineraries to make the most of these destinations is proving popular, and has led us to expand our offering.”
The new 52 page brochure features four new India itineraries including Travel Indochina’s first ever Kashmir route, a range of enhanced 7 to 15 day itineraries for Sri Lanka, as well as a number of new hotels and an expanded hotel image format to help with accommodation selection.
