Trafalgar expands global Family Experiences brochure in 2012
Four new Family Experiences to expand the offering to 18 family-friendly guided holidays
22 November, 2011 – Trafalgar has unveiled its exclusive 2012 Family Experiences brochure featuring its most extensive range of itineraries to date, a total of 18 itinerary options spanning Europe, The Americas and South Africa, in line with growing demand from the family market.
The global brochure launch follows the recent introduction of Trafalgar’s 2012 Europe & Britain First Class brochure to consultants across Australia. Four brand new, carefully-crafted family-friendly guided holidays have been introduced for 2012, including two new Europe programs, one in South America and one in North America.

New European Family Experiences for 2012 include the 10-day Sorrento and Sicily Surprise taking in the sights of Rome and Monte Cassino, the ruins of Pompeii, the beaches of Giardini Naxos and an exclusive taste of local gelato making demonstration in Sorrento. Priced from $2425 per person, twin share, with a Young Traveller Discount (under 18 years) of $245, departures commence 6 April to 10 August, 2012. The 10-day Greek Island Hopper starts in Athens before heading to the islands of Mykonos and Santorini for some family fun in the sun. The 2012 Family program in South America includes the new 11-day Conquistadors, Sacred Valleys and Inca Mysteries itinerary featuring must-see highlights in Peru including the breathtaking Machu Picchu and the spine-tingling mummies museum in Ica. Prices start from $2595 per person, twin share, with a Young Traveller Discount of $210. Departures commence 1 April to 20 December 2012.
Elsewhere in the Americas, experience the USA’s Wild West with the whole family on the new 10-day Dude Ranchin’ Yellowstone and Glacier Roundup, taking in highlights including Cowboy favourites Pompey’s Pillar National Monument and Yellowstone National Park, 320 Guest Ranch, The Museum of the Rockies and, as an extra special treat, the kids will enjoy a delicious Pizza Party highlight dinner in Whitefish.
