ULTIMATE WHITSUNDAYS GUIDE RELEASED
Tourism Whitsundays has released its ultimate guide to the Whitsundays, the Whitsunday Visitors Guide.
Chief Executive Officer Peter O’Reilly said around 90,000 Whitsunday Visitors Guides would be distributed all over the world over the next 12 months.
“The Whitsunday Visitors Guide is the definitive guide to the region produced by the official Regional Tourism Organisation,” Mr O’Reilly said.
“It provides a comprehensive overview of how to get here, must do’s, Whitsunday island and coast accommodation, a dedicated sailing section, tours and attractions on land, on water and in the air, dining, nightlife, shopping, getting off the beaten track, caravan and camping, national parks, weddings and events,” he said.
“It also features a pull out Whitsunday map in the centre of the publication which offers a range of ‘off the beaten’ track experiences and drive trails,”
“The pull out map aims to further showcase the diversity of the Whitsunday Coast from Airlie Beach to Proserpine, Bowen and Collinsville, to encourage more driving holidays to the region and offering great alternatives to water based activities when it’s wet and windy.”
The Whitsunday Visitors Guide is distributed via accredited Information Centres across Australia, at travel expos, trade shows, backpacker hostels, and to travel trade and media across the world, as well as being the most popular regional Visitor Guide to be downloaded from QueenslandHolidays.com.au
