With the launch of the new program, there are a number of exciting enhancements. In 2014 Scenic Tours is introducing a unique 34 Day South American Discovery tour. Here, guests will discover the coastal town of Paracas known for its flamingos, and the Ballestas Islands known for its marine birds and sea lions. They will travel through Mendoza to the highest mountain in the Americas as well as experience the Atacama Desert, the driest in the world and boasts the famous Valley of the Moon. Guests also have the option to take a flight over the famous Nazca Lines series of ancient geoglyphs.
Also new for 2014 is the introduction of a number of spectacular hotels such as the Copacabana Palace by Orient-Express in Rio de Janeiro; and due to popular demand, Scenic Tours have re-introduced cruising on the Chilean Fjords on board Celebrity Infinity. From the bright lights of Buenos Aires to the charming Chilean city of Valparaiso, guests will discover Uruguay’s rural estancias, the craggy cliffs of Cape Horn, colonies of sea lions and Magellan penguins and the magnificent Chilean Fjords.
Prices on the new 34 Day South American Discovery start from $20,950 per person twin share including free flights for the second person travelling for bookings made by 31 August 2013.
