New Horizons Holidays’ (www.newhorizons.com.au) 2013/14 UK & Europe brochure is currently being rolled out to travel agents nationally. The new program features additional destination information, more hotels, the latest sightseeing and day tours, Eurostar, cruise product and expanded car hire options.
When New Horizons Holidays launched its inaugural UK & Europe program in March of this year, it changed the travel landscape, with the company the first West-Australian based wholesaler to sell Europe in more than two decades. With its maiden foray into Europe a huge success, New Horizons Holidays is pleased to be releasing a more extensive UK & Europe edition in time for the 2013 selling season, and in conjunction with fantastic earlybird packages.
Offering the trade a comprehensive range across the key destinations of London, regional UK, Dublin, Paris, Nice, Rome, Florence, Venice, Madrid, Barcelona, Amsterdam, Munich, Vienna, Frankfurt, Zurich, Athens, Prague and Istanbul, New Horizons Holidays’ European portfolio has been designed to deliver choice, flexibility and great value in a simple-to-book format.
Chris Evans, managing director, New Horizons Holidays said, “Pent-up demand in the West Australian market, the continuing strength of the Aussie Dollar in 2012 alongside a range of amazing and highly publicised events, including the London Olympics and Queen’s Diamond Jubilee, all helped our first ever UK & Europe program out-perform all our initial targets.
“In response, we’ve continued to grow our range, working to establish ourselves as a one-stop-shop while broadening our expertise beyond Asia, and into Europe. This has been a great success as we’re now able to deliver the trade, and their clients, accommodation, transport and sightseeing in Europe as well as airfares and fantastic stopover options in Asia and the Arabian Peninsula en route.
“New in 2013, our dedicated cruise section covers the Mediterranean, Northern Europe and the Canary Islands. The program also features three new sightseeing tours in London, Paris and Rome, new hotels in London, Paris, Rome, Venice, Barcelona and Istanbul and the addition of Hertz car hire and Eurostar travel between London, Paris and Brussels.
“With our Europe earlybirds already in the market, we expect 2013 will be another strong year as we build on the momentum of 2012 and take advantage of releasing our program in time for the peak booking season.
“With our program focusing on flexibility and value across key centres, the perennial favourites, like Paris and London, have been stellar performers, a trend we expect to continue. We have also seen apartment accommodation become more popular, with travellers appreciating the great value and increased flexibility it offers. New apartment options added this year include Trianon Borgo Pio Apartments in Rome and Dolphin House Apartments in London.
“When booking your clients holiday to Europe or the UK we suggest pre-booking as much as possible for your client’s before they leave, to ensure a seamless trip. We also recommend breaking the trip up, starting the holiday early, or having one last holiday hurrah, with a stopover in at least one direction. It really can add to the overall experience and breaks up the long haul flight.”
