NEW EASTERN MED DESTINATIONS FOR 2012
THE introduction of Turkey and Greece to Beyond Travel’s 2012 Croatia brochure has contributed to an increase in product over all areas, such as exclusive special journeys, escorted tours, cruise options, walking and gastronomic tours and new tailor-made suggested itineraries, says marketing manager Bryce Crampton.
Mr Crampton commented that the inclusion of these two new destinations allows Beyond Travel to provide Australian travellers with more options throughout the region and increased opportunity to combine different multiple destinations.
He adds, “There was a demand from agents and their clients to link these destinations with Croatia, so it was logical decision to include Turkey and Greece in our 2012 Croatia & Beyond brochure”.
The newly-designed brochure also includes a dedicated “Tailor-Made Tours” section, which will assist agents build personalised tours for their clients. There are a number of suggested itineraries that can be sold as is or altered to suit individual needs.
There have been many additions to the small ship cruising sector, including Vintage Gulet cruises in Turkey, Variety Cruises in Greece, one-way cruises in Croatia and the new upmarket Croatia ship purpose built for the 2012 season.
Also new is a selection of accommodation and sight-seeing options in mainland Croatia, Greece and Istanbul – including a variety of “character hotels” and a larger selection of good-value and centrally-located hotels.
Beyond Travel’s 2012 brochure range includes the Discover More travel credits, which are available on a section of tours and range from $100-$600 per couple and can be used towards any additional services booked with Beyond Travel until April 30.
