AAT Kings (www.aatkings.com.au) has brought all its Northern Territory Short Breaks and Day Tours into one easy-to-use brochure for 2013/14 to give agents the full suite of AAT Kings’ products at their fingertips and reflects the brand’s position as the region’s number one operator.
In line with AAT Kings’ revamped 2013/14 Australia Guided Tours brochures already with travel agents around the country, the newly-released 2013/14 Northern Territory Short Breaks and Day Tours program showcases AAT Kings’ explorer theme and includes AAT Kings and its small group brands, Inspiring Journeys and Aussie Adventure.
David Gendle, Head of Sales, AAT Kings said: “The new brochure is a one-stop shop for agents and consumers travelling to the Northern Territory from this April with options to fit different age demographics and travel spend.
“The brochure showcases AAT Kings’ explorer roots of helping travellers see the sights of Australia since 1925 and illustrates to agents our position today as the leader in the Australian Short Breaks market with the largest range of holiday options, more coaches and most passengers.
“Agents can build their clients’ NT adventures from our established value-for-money AAT Kings’ offering, using the freedom and flexibility of our experiential, small group 4WD Inspiring Journeys, or choose the affordable, off-the-beaten track Aussie Adventure.”
Ranging from two to eight days in length, AAT Kings’ Short Breaks combine the must-see highlights of areas like Alice Springs, Darwin, Kakadu, Kata Tjuta, Katherine Gorge, Kings Canyon, Litchfield, Top End, Ubirr and Uluru with a choice of accommodation, air-conditioned coach transport and AAT Kings’ Driver Guides and Local Guides who ensure travellers get the kind of insider knowledge they won’t find in a guidebook. Travellers can choose from more than 25 Short Breaks packages to discover the best of the Territory including the iconic Red Centre.
Supporting the explorer theme, new visual category tags appear alongside each AAT Kings’ Short Break and Day Tour to give travellers a feel for what will make up their experience – Icons, Historical, City Sights, Wildlife, National Parks, Outback, Indigenous Culture, and Experiences.
Key AAT Kings’ product innovations include Personal Airport Meet and Greet for all Short Break passengers, child prices for all NT Day Tours now being 50% off the adult price, and AAT Kings’ Uluru Barbecue Dinner now operating at an exclusive site inside the Uluru Kata Tjuta National Park.
Gendle added: “We encourage agents to become familiar with our wide selection of tours and the many product enhancements so they can tailor their clients’ outback holiday adventures accordingly.
“AAT Kings is introducing a second Local Guide and limiting group sizes to 25 passengers on several popular Day Tours including the Kata Tjuta Valley of the Winds and Sunset, Kata Tjuta and Uluru Sunset and Uluru Sunrise and Base Tour for 2013 to give travellers a more personalised experience when they are enjoying Uluru – Kata Tjuta National Park.”
AAT Kings’ Day Tours, Optional Activities and Sightseeing Passes are available in Alice Springs, Uluru and Kata Tjuta, and the Top End with Red Centre Connections also offered for luxury coach transfers between Alice Springs, Ayers Rock or Kings Canyon complete with Driver Guide commentary along the way.
Travellers can save up to 10% when buying two Day Tours as part of the new Ochre Sightseeing Pass, which includes the Kata Tjuta Valley of the Winds Walk and Uluru Sunrise and Guided Cultural Walk or the Piti Sightseeing Pass which includes the Uluru Sunset and Kata Tjuta as well as Uluru Sunrise Base Tour or Climb. AAT Kings continues to offer daily departures on all Red Centre and Top End Day Tours in the Northern Territory with several Short Breaks also offering daily departures.
Inspiring Journeys’ 3-day The Long Rainbow, 5-day The Mysterious North and 5-day The Colour of Red and Aussie Adventure’s 2-day Kakadu Highlights and 3-day Top End Highlights complete the agents’ ‘bible’ for Northern Territory Day Tours and Short Breaks.
