TransWorld SNOWboarding, the world's most popular snowboard magazine, September 2005 issue details the editors picks of the five best mountain locations for snowboarders to call home this Northern Hemisphere season, as well as step-by-step instructions for relocation.

"The populations of mountain communities can quadruple during the winter months," said Kurt Hoy Editor-in-Chief of TransWorld SNOWboarding.
"We figured all those people relocating to live out their snowboarding dreams could use some help planning their escape routes."
Whistler Blackcomb in British Columbia Canada, which consistently wins TransWorld SNOWboarding's annual reader Resort Poll, took top honours on this list for their true village atmosphere, long snow season and unparalleled riding.
California's Mammoth Mountain placed second on the list. While Jackson Hole, Wyoming, The Arlberg, Austria and Summit County, Colorado round out the remaining top five.
Locations were selected based on a variety of criteria including placement in the TransWorld SNOWboarding annual resort poll, quality of snow, length of season, and nightlife.
The magazine also offers advice on successfully completing the move to a mountain community including tips on finding a place to live, securing a job and landing a season pass.
