Garuda Indonesia is seeking a highly motivated an positive professional to fill the role of Marketing Executive, based in the company’s regional Head Office in Sydney.
Reporting to the Senior General Manager for Australia/ South West Pacific, the successful applicant’s responsibilities will include:
• Planning, implementation and analysis of national promotional activity
• Evaluation and recommendation of promotional, sponsorship and other proposals
• Briefing advertising agency on approved national advertising campaigns
• Proofing and approving artwork
• Liaison with external PR companies
• Liaison with marketing division of the airline’s channel distribution and other industry partners
• Planning and coordination of media familiarizations
• Compilation, reporting and analysis of Australia/New Zealand market sales and data
To be successful in this role you will possess the following skills/attributes:
• Marketing qualifications and experience with a proven track record
• A travel industry background
• Excellent writing and proof reading skills
• Strong communication skills with the ability to liaise with various internal and external stakeholders
• Experience in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, Power-Point
• Strong Analytical skills
• A knowledge of desktop publishing application such as InDesign would be advantageous
• Familiarity/knowledge of Indonesia as one of Australia’s most popular destinations would be well regarded
