Travelscene American Express is a franchise network of over 600 travel agents across Australia including 80 agents specializing in the corporate travel market. Established in 2003, the alliance between Travelscene and American Express leverages the global strength of the American Express brand for buying power. The Travelscene American Express brand is built on respect, trust and integrity executed by local leaders with a global vision. We currently have an exciting opportunity for a talented state manager to come and join the team and drive the business for NSW. In this role you will be responsible for managing, directing and executing the sales and marketing strategies, tactics and programmes for the Travelscene American Express membership network. Along with increasing the total travel billings, locations in force and market share of preferred partners and in-house businesses in order to increase the revenue and profitability of the TSAX agency network and maximise the revenue of Stella Travel Services Group.
To be successful in this role you will need to possess the following attributes:
• Financial & commercial acumen.
• Experience in a senior sales leadership role
• The ability to build equity into a brand and also drive sales in a pressurised retail environment week to week
• Experience in the Retail industry and / or Franchise industry
• Experience working with and managing executive relationships and other external suppliers
• External – establish and develop good working relationships with Preferred Partners
• The ability to manage and develop the sales team
• Ability to present to large groups
